A few days ago I read an article about a supposed “racial ad”. It was a poster of a woman covered in charcoal in a very elegant beautiful way advertising a new DonkinDonuts donut in Thailand. The new donut name was “charcoal”; yes, for real. I just don’t get how some people can use the race card on things like that. How can you say it was racial? Are white or brown or red or yellow donuts also racial products? Don’t get me wrong; I love my blacks and whites but life is more than two colors – it’s about diversity. Sometimes I just don’t get it.
